The Story | The US sees an Increase in Proposed Legislation Relevant to Retirement
With the pending “Pension Crisis” that is “so big it’s a problem for everyone,” (according to Forbes, 20 May 2019); plus the anticipated exhaustion of the US Social Security Fund in 2035, as recently announced by the Social Security Administration, the trend is a notable increase in proposed legislation impacting retirement; literally rewriting the rules of retirement.
Quoting the Social Security Administration directly: “The Trustees project that the combined trust funds will be depleted in 2035.” That’s 16 years from now, folks.
